Thunder Active approached me about an update for a WordPress website. We partnered on the project to develop a great solution for their client. The owner liked the parent theme they were working with, but felt the child theme & content layout needed an update. I took the Illustrator document & assets folder to begin. A big push for this redesign was the mobile aspect. We wanted to make sure that the content was very usable at the smaller screen sizes as well as readable. With this being a dedicated blog, text was crucial and a primary focus. I also helped automate some of the workflow & content editing, modifying templates to programmatically reuse elements.
